What is a pediatric cataract?

My baby was born with a rare pediatric cataract. It's a unilateral congenital cataract in her right eye. She was diagnosed with this at 3 months, but we were unable to have surgery to remove it until she was 6 months old. She now wears a contact lens in her right eye & we're patching her eye daily with a goal of 4-6 hours. It's a constant struggle. Take your child to get their eyes checked out today!

Fan of the Yarn Harlot?

Check out this story I produced on why people knit, the desire for knitting groups and what the Yarn Harlot thinks of this whole crazy "trend" of knitting.
