Cute Baby Quilt Causes Guilt

I haven't worked on my friends baby quilt in a really long, long time. I used to think it was adorable and it made me happy to look at it. Now, it makes me feel guilty. Really, really guilty. The kid is going to be heading off to junior high before I get him his quilt at the rate I'm going. So this weekend, I took matters into my own hands. I set up my sewing machine (again) and got to work. Some serious headway was made and it's looking pretty cute once again if I do say so!

I hate craft guilt. Isha has half of a dress that I have crocheted and at this rate it won't fit her by the time I am done. Maybe this post will get me motivated!

Cute quilt BTW.

Craft guilt! I love it! Sadly, it's a side of crafting many don't realize exsists.

I think scrapbooking guilt may be a cousin to craft guilt...

The quilt is darling, whether or not guilt is motivating its finish! -S

I would have to agree. Very cute quilt. And the picture doesn't even do it justice -- I've seen it in person.

However, I know for a fact that the intended recipient of the quilt is quite busy right now (he is intent on improving his speed while walking on two feet) and not too concerned about where his birthday present is. Perhaps that can alleviate some of the lingering quilt guilt. ;-)
