For Christmas my sister gave me the book jam it, pickle, cure it. She also gave me a bunch of fun jars (plus some other fun goodies!) The book has a bunch of really great recipies for jams, pickles, meats, cheeses and crackers. I think this will keep me quite busy and hopefully quite full through out the seasons!

I. Am. So. Jealous! Shawn has been putting his foot down about canning, canning supplies and such. Not because he wouldn't love some home canned goods, but because we lack SPACE. Canning ephemera will be one of the first things I acquire when we have our own place or a bigger place. We were closer on this last month, but have back burner-ed it for now. Too bad the dream house that we looked at (too expensive) had great storage and a lovely canning friendly kitchen!
