This weekend my mom came to Seattle for a girls weekend b-day trip. I gave her tickets to see Celine Dion for her birthday and we had a great time! It wasn't so much a concert - more like a theatrical performance really. And in case you're wondering, the answer is no - she did not pound her chest when she sang that little song from the "Titanic."

What a nice birthday treat! Does that move you up in the "favorite daughter" ranks with your mom? Or maybe that competition only exists with regards to your Pops...
Sounds like the perfect mother/daughter outing. My mom would have flipped! Have you ever heard how Kathy Griffin says Celine Dion with her psuedo-French accent? That is what I am thinking of! -S
I like Celine and I am not afraid to admit it. I would love to see her in concert I am sure it was quite the show. She is a little over the top - but aren't we all???
