Confession

My Christmas knitting has totally fallen by the wayside. I have one present done. Haven't started the other one. And am only 1 inch into Matt's second sock. It's bad. What's even worse is my reason for why the knitting has come to a stand still three weeks before Christmas. It's my new lap top. I love it. Am addicted to it. I wish I could say I was surfing knitting sites or even updating my blog all the time (but we know that's not true.) What is keeping me from knitting (or at least knitting fast as I do try to make it through a few rows at a time) is the chess game! I play against the computer and the damn thing beats me all the time! It's so discouraging, yet I keep at it. Pathetic I know. That and I'm reading a really good book - The Other Boleyn Sister - a very fun and easy read. It's just really long. Now instead of staying up late knitting, I'm staying up late reading! It's bad. I need to kick it into high gear!
